Op zaterdag 4 juli 2026 organiseert Kunstenplatform WARP weer een portfoliodag. Wil je als beeldend kunstenaar je professionele horizon verbreden en je inhoudelijk verdiepen? Wil je vijf intensieve één-op-één-gesprekken met een ervaren professional uit het kunstenveld en nieuwe collega’s ontmoeten?
En wordt hoogstwaarschijnlijk ook uitgenodigd om je werk te presenteren bij WARP van midden augustus tot midden september!
Profiel
We richten ons op geëngageerde kunstenaars wiens praktijk zich volop ontwikkelt, die openstaan voor input en feedback en een internationale horizon voor ogen hebben.
Bezorg ons het volgende via info@warp-art.be, voor 14 juni (max. 5 MB totaal):
- Een kernachtige artist statement (max. 250 woorden)
- Foto’s van 3 sleutelwerken
- Een link naar je website en sociale media
We aanvaarden geen verwijzing naar je website alleen – selecteren in je oeuvre en dat vervolgens motiveren, interpreteren we als een professionele deugd.
Praktisch
- Locatie: Kunstenplatform WARP, Apostelstraat 20, 9100 Sint-Niklaas, 10 minuten wandelen van het treinstation
- Ontvangst vanaf 9u30, afronden om 18u
- Aantal deelnemers: 10-12 kunstenaars
- WARP zorgt voor de match met kunstenaar - commentator
- Voertaal: voornamelijk Engels
- Deelnamebijdrage: slechts € 50

- Vijf individuele gesprekken van 45 minuten met ervaren commentatoren
- Informele netwerkmomenten met collega’s en professionals

On Saturday, July 4th, Kunstenplatform WARP will once again organise an Artist Village. Do you, as a visual artist, want to broaden your professional horizons and deepen your content? Do you want to have five intensive individual conversations with an experienced professional and meet new colleagues? Are you looking for more feedback and targeted support for your international ambitions afterwards? Then send your application before June 14th to: info@warp-art.be.
You will most likely also be invited to present your work at WARP from mid-August to mid-September.
Conditions of participation
We focus on committed artists whose practice is developing, who are open to input and have an international horizon in mind.
Send us the following via info@warp-art.be (max. 5 MB in total):
- A concise artist statement (max. 250 words)
- Photos of 3 of your key works
- A link to your website and social media
We do not accept a reference to your website alone – selecting from your oeuvre and then justifying it, we interpret it as a professional virtue.
Practical info
- Location: Kunstenplatform WARP, Apostelstraat 20, 9100 Sint-Niklaas, 10 minute walk from the railway station
- Welcome from 9.30 PM, goodbyes around 6 PM
- Number of participants: 10-12 artists
- WARP arranges the match between artist and commentator
- Working language: primarily English
- Participation fee: only € 50
